All appointments are scheduled
in advance to allow ample time for
each visit and scheduled surgical
procedures. Emergency cases do receive
top priority, which may cause an occasional
delay. Please note that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

If you are new to our office, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out new client/patient paperwork. Our new client form may be downloaded from our website to allow you to complete it ahead of your visit.

Under certain circumstances, we do allow patients to be dropped off at the clinic for examination and diagnostic work-up instead of scheduling an outpatient appointment with the veterinarian. We may assess a day boarding charge for this service. For the safety of our patients, we ask that all patients be restrained on a leash or placed in a pet carrier before exiting your car and entering the clinic.

Boarding & Grooming

Boarding and Grooming is reserved for patients of Sullivan Family Pet Hospital. Grooming is limited to medical grooming only (bathing and comb-out) we do not do routine clipping of hair. All boarders and pets admitted for grooming must be current on vaccinations and a fecal analysis for both your pet's protection and the protection of other animals in the hospital. For dogs, this includes Distemper, Parvo, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Bordetella (kennel cough) and Rabies vaccines. Cats must be current on Feline Distemper, Rhinotracheitis, Calici and Rabies vaccinations.

If we discover a pet is infected with fleas or any other parasites during their stay, we will treat the animal in an appropriate manner at the owner's expense to prevent possible infection to other boarders.

Our boarders are fed a highly digestible Iam's veterinary diet. Any boarders on a prescription diet can either bring in their prescription food or we will charge out their own personal bag to feed while boarding and then send it home with them at check out. If you prefer to keep your pet on the diet they eat at home, you may bring that with you. The administration of medication or the handling of specialized boarders such as diabetic patients will have an additional daily fee charged.

Due to the quality of boarding and care provided, our facility fills up fast, especially during the holidays. Please reserve space well in advance. To schedule your pet's stay, call 515-276-4083.
