Appointments

All appointments are scheduled in advance to allow ample time for each visit and scheduled surgical procedures. Emergency cases do receive top priority, which may cause an occasional delay. Please note that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

If you are new to our office, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out new client/patient paperwork. Our new client form may be downloaded from our website to allow you to complete it ahead of your visit.

Under certain circumstances, we do allow patients to be admitted into the clinic for the day to allow for examination and diagnostic work-up instead of scheduling an outpatient appointment with the veterinarian. We may assess a day boarding charge for this service.

For the safety of our patients, we ask that all pets be restrained on a leash or placed in a pet carrier before exiting your car and entering the clinic.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time services are rendered. We will gladly provide an estimate of fees the doctor anticipates will occur during your pet’s visit. For your convenience, we accept debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, CareCredit, cash and personal checks.

Outside Pharmacy Policy

Beginning July 1, 2019 we will no longer approve prescription requests from outside pharmacies by phone or through fax.

Our new policy is to only issue hand-written prescriptions to our clients. It will take up to 48 hours for your written prescription to be ready for pick up. Please keep in mind that your veterinarian may not work every day of the week and we are closed on Sundays, which may increase the amount of time it takes to get approval.

This hand-written prescription can then be sent, by you, to the pharmacy of your choice. Some pharmacies may require you to mail in a hand-written prescription. Check with the pharmacy you plan on using to avoid a lapse in medications.

We understand the tempting convenience of online pharmaceutical companies, but be aware some online pharmacies may not purchase their medications through the manufacturer who made them. They may be purchased from third parties with no guarantee of their origin or how they have been stored.

When you purchase your pet’s medications through our veterinary office they are guaranteed by the manufacturer.
